As a child i always wanted to grow up really fast. I did not like school, or homework or exams... Now that i am working and grown up, life aint that easy on this side too.. like they say, "The grass alwasy looks greener on the other side". After goin on the other side i realised that it aint that green as it seemed to be... There are so many responsibilities that u have to take care of, ur expenses, taxes...aaargh... i hate it sometimes...just runnin around to get these things done itself is a hassle...n m tellin u its a pain when u have to deal with the government officials...they will see to it that u visit their office more than once... they derive a lot of pleasure in just seeing u in pain... 31st July 2008 is the last date to file my returns and in the last one yr i have had to change my job.. so that means i gotta collect my form 16 from my previous employer as well which i am not very excited to do... why is life so complicated as an adult.. now when i look back i wish i was a kid:(Wednesday, July 23, 2008

Moments to remember..
All of us at one point of time in our lives have experienced embarrassing moments… if u know me personally I definitely am the perfect candidate for it. When I look back now I just wonder as to how cud I have been so stupid… but I guess we all have are moments… so I will start with the least embarrassing one..
1) This incident took place when I was in 5th standard ( if I remember correctly). We were havin r English grammar class…we were learnin about comparative n superlative degrees… r teacher asked us so what is the comparative n superlative degree for good… very pride fully and like a miss know it all I raised my hand up… there were few other girls too who had their hands up… as I get a lil too excited abt answerin questions I was almost jumpin off the seat… seeing my desire to answer she gave me the opportunity to do so…I cleared my throat n said a loud voice, “The answer is Good, Gooder Goodest”. I cant clearly remember if the whole class started laughin, but I was red in my face, n sat down quietly upon knowin that it wasn’t the right answer.
2) This second incident that I am about to mention I guess is a lot more embarrassing as the memory hasn’t faded as yet. This occurred in my second year of graduation (commerce)… we had this subject called Business Administration. We had a new, young professor, who insisted that the students need to dress up formally for his class.. so that meant the guys in their formal shirt n pants with a tie( no one was allowed without a tie) and the girls in their salwar kameez. As teenagers no one wants to come dressed like that… the reason m givin u details so that u can have a basic idea of the kind of professor he was..so we were pretty frustrated as he had a lot of rules and regulations in his class…one day as the class got over we all got up to say thank u( as he expected us to do so every single time)… so he got out of the class and only few students stood up n wished him… he wanted to instill a sense of discipline in us so he walked back in. as we were back in r seats, so v had to stand up again n wish him. This happened 2-3 times, which kinda got annoyin… I was thoroughly annoyed and I mumbled something to my friend… the professor obviously saw that n asked me, “ So caroline do u have sumthin to say?”, till date I cant believe the way I answered that question. I said, “Yes sir, can you please leave the class so that we all can sit down. We are really tired of sayin “thank u” over and over again”… my friend just looked at me in disbelief. I cud not believe I said that… and u know wat he did not say anything… he took it pretty well, smiled and walked out of the class… we had such a good laugh after he left…
3) My last embarrassing and probably the worst embarrassing moment was when I was workin in Endurance Fitness club. There used to be this guy(whose name I wont mention, as he is quite a famous personality in Pune) who would come to workout. He had this very annoyin habit of flirtin with the girls…one day he was talking to my colleague (or shud I say flirting with her), n I was just comin out of the ladies spa. His back was towards me so I took the liberty of makin funny faces or rather imitating him, without realizing that there was a mirror right in front of him. As soon as i realized the fact I ran back in the spa… I tried to avoid bumpin into him later, but it was difficult as I worked there.

Fun Weekend!!
The weekend went by pretty fast this time and I felt that I am back to work too soon… but I guess that life's good things do come to an end… I did go for my movie btw on Saturday.. but not for “made of honor" somehow the show got cancelled and so I ended up watchin “Get Smart”…after a really long time I laughed my heart out…steve carell did a good job …his humour is not the annoyin kind where u get irritated by the end of the movie… was very natural… He and Anne Hathaway complimented each other really well… the best part of watchin the movie in the theatre was that they were only around 15 people.. so I got the best seats with less people and no unnecessary comments… After that my sister and I went to Supriya for a well deserved breakfast… enjoyed the onion
uttapa… It was after quite some time that both of us had gone out for breakfast…yes we do it on a regular basis… its fun actually… and the best part of eatin at Supriya is that the food is reasonable, tasty and u r full too…hee hee… after that we went shoppin and finally, after 3 months of hard earned savings I got a camera for my self..did not get the one that I had planned for(like everythin goes according to wat we plan) but in the end I was happy with wat I got… we were 2 clueless girls in an electronic shop ya… u can imagine how confused we were.. but it was a good learning experience…m glad I did some research as regards cameras… otherwise I wud look like an absolute dodo …
Sunday was more of a quite day... as I had written in my last post I wud have a lot of catchin up to do… so that kept me busy… after 2 weeks I went to Coffee Jar (one of my favourite hang out joints)…just love the coffee there…Enjoyed my Hazelnut Mocha with Banana Walnut Bread… thinking of it makes me wanna have one now… well that’s a brief description of my weekend.. will try n think of some good topics to write on for the week…let me make use of the free time as long as it lasts..Friday, July 4, 2008
Nice...
M back… its been long since I’ve written in my blog… Btw Happy 4th of July to all those who celebrate it… Its better to keep writin sumthin in ur blog on a day to day basis..coz when u lose touch, u don’t wanna get back to writing.. that’s how m feeling right now…basically I was ill for 5 days with a sinus infection.. so all I did for those five days was just eat n sleep.. now m back to work…so no more extra sleeping…
Days have been goin nice.. u may ask why am I using the word nice…hmmmm I actually don’t know too… the place where I am currently employed, we are in the shifting process… we r gonna be in a new campus in another 20 days.. so right now the admin section is in the PG classroom.. and the funny part is I like it better than my previous place… I have a nice window seat and I get to talk to my colleagues a lot more than I used to .. so I guess that’s why I feel “Nice”… and u know wat it does make a lot of difference as to wat kind of people u r around…. Be in the company of nagging and ungrateful people, u kinda end up havin the same attitude…now m around people who r a lil chilled out about stuff and that’s good.. my regular headaches have stopped… n I seem to be in a lighter mood these days.. m happy:)
Workouts as usual r goin fine… just started yest after a week’s break as I was ill.. felt good… this weekend is gonna be fun as my friends have come down from their trip back home in the states.. so m gonna have a lot of catchin up to do… m actually lookin forward to it.. and of course I gotta watch a weekend movie.. so this Saturday it is “Made of honor”… till next week then, chow n take care… my upcomin article will probably be the review of the movie..

Different seasons..
There are days at work when u really don’t have anything substantial to do…I am going thru those days right now…the students are done with their exams and all have gone home…The faculty are enjoyin their much awaited vacation… everythin right now in college is in a slow mode…so that has kinda rubbed on me and as a result I don’t feel like doin anything… I have been so sleepy since morning that even now I can barely keep my eyes open to write this post.. (have already taken two short naps).. now the picture u guys must be havin of me must be that of a lazy slop who does not like to work and basically wants to relax at her job…
Well this is my first job where m not on my toes…the two other jobs I have had, I wud not have time sometimes to even have my lunch… I used to work as an administrator in a International school… there I’d be runnin from one floor to another… I enjoyed that coz that kept me on my toes.. loved being around kids.. and in a school u get to interact with all kind if age groups…from toddlers to the teenagers… My interaction here in MIT Design is mostly with older students basically of the UG and PG age group. Sometimes its nice to be around people of ur age…but I guess I had more fun in the school.. coz that kinda takes me back to my good old school days and wat we would do as teenagers… the crushes, exams, friendships, fights and a lot more…
As the job in the school was my first one I always wondered wat I wud take home after I leave that place…coz I was the youngest and the most inexperienced person… I remember being among the most qualified teachers…but that was an experience in itself… and I know there will be a lot to learn in the coming months too.. in one of my previous posts I had mentioned that I wud change my career line and go into fitness… its kinda takin shape now.. will probably do the course in the month of july.. will mostly still continue in my admin job for some time to save up some cash… coz the fitness industry does not pay that well unless ur well qualified… so will go slow with it… anyways that’s alli have to pen down today.. hope I havn’t bored u guys… did my best to write sumthin interesting…

Long break...
Well its been quite some time now since I have written in my blog. I guess I was just lazy.. did not feel like writing…had 2 busy weeks of work and then took my comp offs this weekend… it was nice just to relax and not think of work.. I really needed the break…but now I don’t feel like working as I still m in the holiday mood… but anyways I know I need to get back… my weekend was good.. went to my favourite coffee shop(Coffee Jar-Wanowrie) on Thursday morning and enjoyed my time there…my friend invited me over for lunch where after a long time I had fish fry..hmmm that was yum…with sautéed veges… and of course my dessert ICE-CREAM… on sat I went out for shoppin and got a few things I needed to get for a long time.. so all in all I guess my weekend was fruitful…had a relaxed time, got my errands done and enjoyed my long holiday..
