One of Those Moments

So at 10:30 am I head to the cafeteria at work for my usual "tea break". In my mind I am thinking.."Eh... the routine.. wake up... get ready... get to work.. take a  break

at the same time everyday..yup I was having an ungrateful attitude.

I set my stuff on the table and took the high chair and sat down in front of the glass window.Then for a moment i just stopped and relished the view before me. There were thick clouds, rain pouring down...lots of greenery... and I am sharing this moment with some of my new, but good friends... This is not routine..It is a gift and i am grateful to God for these wonderful moments...

Friends

Friends are hard to find... Good ones even harder... A very good friend of mine had come down from the States to visit all of us here.. The two months that I spent with her was a blessing.. Even though she is ten years younger than me we get along pretty well...We had late night movies, conversations over coffee and great times reliving old memories.. I love her family and have had a wonderful time with them. She just left a few days back and i miss her already. After spending time with her I realized that maintaining relationships is hard. Especially when the person is far off. You have to work at it, and the end result is always sweet. Thank you Emily for taking your precious time to come and visit us here. You were a huge blessing to a lot of people. I am sure people back home must be waiting to see you:) Take care and love ya loads!!!

Nice...

M back… its been long since I’ve written in my blog… Btw Happy 4th of July to all those who celebrate it… Its better to keep writin sumthin in ur blog on a day to day basis..coz when u lose touch, u don’t wanna get back to writing.. that’s how m feeling right now…basically I was ill for 5 days with a sinus infection.. so all I did for those five days was just eat n sleep.. now m back to work…so no more extra sleeping…

Days have been goin nice.. u may ask why am I using the word nice…hmmmm I actually don’t know too… the place where I am currently employed, we are in the shifting process… we r gonna be in a new campus in another 20 days.. so right now the admin section is in the PG classroom.. and the funny part is I like it better than my previous place… I have a nice window seat and I get to talk to my colleagues a lot more than I used to .. so I guess that’s why I feel “Nice”… and u know wat it does make a lot of difference as to wat kind of people u r around…. Be in the company of nagging and ungrateful people, u kinda end up havin the same attitude…now m around people who r a lil chilled out about stuff and that’s good.. my regular headaches have stopped… n I seem to be in a lighter mood these days.. m happy:)

Workouts as usual r goin fine… just started yest after a week’s break as I was ill.. felt good… this weekend is gonna be fun as my friends have come down from their trip back home in the states.. so m gonna have a lot of catchin up to do… m actually lookin forward to it.. and of course I gotta watch a weekend movie.. so this Saturday it is “Made of honor”… till next week then, chow n take care… my upcomin article will probably be the review of the movie..

Quasar '08

After reading my title u must be wondering wat m i gonna write in my post..well quasar is the annual function of MIT Design..We had one yesterday..and wat a nite it was.. i really had a good time..the programme included dances, plays n mad ads...it was fun..just to see the students up on stage was a joy..those who i thought were quiet turned out to be notorious..the music was great..high volume, disco lights, artificial fog and a lot more special effects...there was a range of dances from elvis to govinda style, punjabi to romantic songs...but the best was the live band..man were they good..they sang a song frm freddie mercury's album..and they sang in harmony... wid the lead guitarists, the bass, the drums and the piano... i was on a high yest..after a long time went for a decent show..m glad m workin here, i know the Lord knows best for me.. i guess i should stop grumbling abt my job n just enjoy the perks of being around smart, creative, intelligent and of course good lookin people..

Re-living my college days!!!

Today i really had a good time at my work place..i felt i was back in college...right now the quasar festival is goin on which is the cultural festival in MIT Design(thats where i work)..the advantage of workin in a design coll is that u are surrounded by creativity..i painted on the common cloth with my handprints along with the paintings of all the other people...then i became a canvas n now my kurta has art work..my colleagues took the liberty of painting on my clothes as m the youngest employee here..today i really missed my college days..but m greatful to the Lord for giving them back again to me...
